Build a visual vocabulary and develop a voice of expression through the use of personal icons in this weeklong workshop with James Tisdale. Develop your own language through open dialogue with Tisdale as he reveals the nature of his own personal images and use of color. Demonstrations, discussions of building techniques, and one-on-one assistance will help you discover which methods bring you success in your work. Use these methods to construct human, animal, and hybrid forms as the central foundation of your work to create a narrative sculpture.
