Photoshop I

Learn the basics of opening, importing, resizing, creating, and saving picture files. Develop your editing skills—cropping, color correction, light and tonal balance, and adjusting saturation—to transform your photos into richer, more visually interesting images. Try your hand at simple manipulation, including color replacement, making images black-and-white, applying color, and exploring basic restoration techniques.

Shooting assignments each week focus on expanding composition skills, understanding light, and becoming comfortable and confident in manipulating manual exposure. Each week, students will make one fine art print as they seek to develop their personal style.
